Blythewood is a ridiculously hot market. It feels like pretty much anyone moving anywhere in the Northeast is trying to get over in that area, and this listing in the gated community of Windermere is a pretty good example of why.
First impressions are pretty important, and boy does this home make a great one. It’s got a twisting driveway that screams of elegance, and as you walk into the front door, you’re greeted with a modern, open floorplan, hardwood floors, clean lines, and a two-story great room that usually grace the likes of a Southern Living magazine. Not the least to mention the fact that off the back is a gorgeous back deck and fenced in backyard, both in immaculate condition. The grass looks so good, I’d almost be scared to walk on it if I didn’t want to lie down and never get up.
The kitchen is ridiculous. It’s huge, for one, and it has built-in shelves, like, everywhere. You need a place for something? You’ve got a place for something. You don’t have any excuse not to get an Instant Pot anymore. There’s also a built-in desk, which is super nice. The kitchen itself just looks good, on top of it all, with an island cooktop, built-in stove and microwaves, and enough counter space to make so many cookies.
Owner suite downstairs is about as fancy as you can get, with a tray ceiling, bathroom that looks like a spa catalogue, and enough room for pretty much any furniture you could possibly want to put in there. Other bedrooms are upstairs and large, separated by this super cool-looking cat walk that is aesthetically one of the neater things I’ve seen in a home. Windermere itself, too, is just a gorgeous neighborhood, with golf courses, huge gorgeous homes, and the kind of luxury that makes you coo when you drive around your cul-de-sac.
