Things to do in Columbia: Soda City Market

On any given Saturday morning, you can join a bunch of your neighbors and visit the Soda City Market. This open-air market starts at 9 am and closes at 1 pm, every Saturday rain or shine. The vendors come from all over the state of South Carolina and everything they sell is either handmade or homegrown. Hosting about 150 vendors a week, there is something new to eat and refreshing to drink as you look at unique arts and crafts and listen to buskers of all ages playing music. Pet owners can also get in the fun of the market and bring their leashed pet (dogs, cats, iguanas, parrots, goats and even a Vietnamese Potbelly Pig have all been sighted at the market) for a nice walk along Main Street.
